Universal Primary Calibrator

With the universal primary calibrator, single and multi-component forces and bending moments transducers including torque and thrust transducers can be calibrated independently. A potentiometer can be calibrated by this equipment.

With this device accurate loadings in terms of direction and intensity to a transducer can be given and the electronic measurements resulting from these loadings can be determined. These values are used to derive the calibration factors for the DAAS on the towing carriage.

The measuring device of the universal primary calibrator consisting of a 6 channels amplifier enables the determination of the reaction of up to 6 transducers simultaneously. By doing this the interaction between the transducers can be established as well.
